Traditional Wedding Cake

The final exam for the cake decorating class!

There were a lot of rules and limitations on this cake; Chef wanted us to stay traditional. The cake had to be all white. The only color was to be on the flowers. We also had to use certain techniques and had specific requirements. It caused a huge uproar, but Chef settled the matter simply, "Are you going to tell your customers no when they want something just because you don't like it? Not if you want to keep your job."

Cornelli lace, lace points, gumpaste flowers, pastillage box and flaming heart topper.

The theme I was going for was lacy; a bride getting ready for her big day.
